Bill Bernstein exhibition and new monograph pay tribute to New York’s disco scene

American photographer Bill Bernstein began his career at The Village Voice and Elle Magazine where he shot portraits and documentary street photography. He also spent time shooting the frequenters of Studio 54 and Paradise. His exhibition in London coincides with the release of a new monograph. Disco : The Bill Bernstein Photographs, pays tribute to New York’s disco scene.
Bernstein also served as Paul McCartney’s personal photographer for 15 years, and the video below showcases photographs from that time. The photography is also published as a book: Paul McCartney: Onstage, Offstage, and Backstage.
